My name is Fiona, and I am an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.
In a nut-shell, this means I can prescribe exercise, movement & lifestyle programs to people.
It also means I educate, guide and inspire my clients to make the changes that they want and need to make, in order to find enJOYment in movement and balance in life.
In case you're wondering, I am much more than a personal trainer!
This is because I have a tertiary degree in Exercise Science, numerous additional qualifications and have completed professional courses in
Clinical Pilates, breathing techniques, mindbody wellbeing, hydrotherapy and wellness coaching (to name a few).
As AEPs, we have studied the functioning of the human body
to a similar level as a physiotherapist.
I am not a physiotherapist though
and I don't do hands on treatments!
What I do is specialise in movement therapy, exercise prescription,
lifestyle medicine and behavioural change to enhance my clients lives!
Pilates, pain improvement, lifestyle medicine, breath work
and wellbeing enhancement are the passion areas of my work.
